I find that greeting each other is very important.
Not because of the greeting itself, but more for what is implied.
If a biker has problems other bikers stop and help.
I used to have a Suzi GN125 which I drove for 54'000 Km
until, one day, it dropped a valve.
I was driving 80 Km/h, luckily in a straight line.
2 BMW Tourers (man and wife) driving in the other direction
stopped to help.
After we had decided that we couldn't fix the bike on the spot,
they turned round and drove me home.
That was about 30 Km extra!!

That's important!!!!!

I am always willing to stop and help a stricken biker.
Bob
